I am Steven Bolton and live in Lancashire. I am a chartered surveyor.

After service in the Royal Air Force between 1991 and 1996 I attended South Bank University between 1996 and 2000 and was awarded a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management. After subsequently completing the Assessment of Professional Competence I was elected a professional member of the Royal Institution of Charted Surveyors (MRICS) in 2002 and have a wide range of experience as a commercial property professional.

With regard to previous political experience I joined the Conservative Party in 1997 and was a member for approximately 10 years. My political experience includes: In 1998 and 2002 I stood as a Conservative Party candidate in council elections.

In the 2001 General Election I acted as the parliamentary election agent for a Conservative Party Prospective Parliamentary Candidate (PPC).

Westmoreland and Lonsdale is a 52.94% remain area and is winnable.

In the last parliamentary election the winner was Tim Farron a Liberal Democrats Hold (1.5% majority) Turnout 77.9% (Total electorate: 66391)
